Cimientu Advisory — Fractional CFO, Strategy & Back Office Consulting
CIMIENTU ADVISORY

{{ tagline }}

We are the foundation beneath good decisions. Senior finance, strategy, and operations leadership for organizations that need the base built right, so what comes next can rise.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Rooted and rising, at the same time.

Most firms pick one: the safe pair of hands or the growth story. We think the two belong together. A foundation is only worth building because of what stands on it.

Foundations before flash

We build the base first: clean books, real visibility, and sound processes. Growth should stand on something solid.

Growth with intention

We scale toward the operational moves that actually shift outcomes, not growth for its own sake.

Re-skilling over redundancy

When the work changes, we change with it together. People are the foundation here, not a line item.

Judgment beats volume

Better questions beat more reports. We optimize for decisions, not activity.

Outcomes, not jargon

Plain answers, confidence without overpromising, and value you can measure. Clarity is not pressure. Clarity is kindness.

Trust that lasts

We build capability and leaders that outlive the engagement, not dependence on us. Success is what keeps working after we leave.

We build the foundation. You build what comes next.

WHAT WE DO

Senior leadership, at the fraction you need.

White-collar and back-office expertise: fractional executives who take the seat, and consulting teams who build the machinery behind it.

FRACTIONAL LEADERSHIP

Fractional CFO

Financial diagnostics, forecasting, KPIs, cash-flow discipline, and a steady hand on every decision with a dollar sign attached.

Fractional CEO

Interim executive leadership through transitions, turnarounds, and growth phases. Accountable, senior, and temporary by design.

Fractional Project Management

Experienced PM leadership that keeps initiatives moving. Coordination, follow-through, and honest status reports.

CONSULTING & EXECUTION

Strategy & Advisory

Roadmaps, planning, and decision support grounded in your real numbers.

AI & Technology

Practical adoption: where automation genuinely helps, and where automation does not.

Executions

ERP and systems work: selection, configuration, integration, adoption.

Executive & Professional Coaching and Development

On-call counsel for leaders and teams, shaped around the moment at hand rather than a fixed program. Available when the question arrives.

Back Office Operations

HR, admin, and process design. The quiet machinery that makes growth possible.

INDUSTRIES WE SERVE

Foundations look different in every industry. These are the ones where we have stood in the work ourselves.

Cannabis Chemicals Construction Customer Experience (CX) E-commerce Energy Fast Moving Consumer Packaged Goods (FMCPG) Helpdesk IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) Logistics/3PL Manufacturing Nonprofit Refurbishment Retail Reverse Logistics Technical Support Wholesale

Nonprofit advisory remains a standing commitment: durable foundations for mission-driven organizations, with stewardship of every dollar so the work can grow.

WHO WE WORK WITH

Pre-revenue to $200MM.

Different organizations, one common thread: they have outgrown their foundation, or they are about to. We meet you where you stand.

01

Small & mid-market business owners

You built something real. Now the finances, systems, and back office need to catch up to the business you actually run.

02

Nonprofits & mission-driven organizations

Every dollar carries a promise. We help you steward it with the same rigor a business would demand, in service of the mission.

03

PE-backed & growth companies

Investors expect reporting, forecasting, and controls that hold up under scrutiny. We build them fast, and to institutional standards.

HOW WE ENGAGE

Three ways in. No lock-in.

Every engagement is scaled to what you actually need, never more. Start with a single deliverable or a full partnership; the door swings both ways.

OPTION A

Fixed Fee

Defined scope, defined price. Best for one-time diagnostics or discrete build projects: a financial health check, a roadmap, a working model.

Commission one deliverable or the full program.
OPTION B

Hourly & Project

Pay for time as it is used, against a tiered rate card. The right resource is matched to the task, so you never pay executive rates for coordination work.

Best for on-demand analysis and defined projects.
OPTION C

Monthly Retainer

A reserved block of hours each month at a preferred rate: priority access, predictable budgeting, and a partner who already knows your business.

Best for an ongoing leadership partnership.
CLIENT OUTCOMES

The work will speak for itself.

CLIENTS

Organizations we have built with.

A foundation is best judged by what stands on it.

THE PRINCIPALS

Senior operators who have stood in the work.

No leverage model, no hand-offs to junior staff. The people you meet are the people who do the work.

I'm an executive leader and entrepreneur with a proven track record of building scalable organizations at the intersection of operations, finance, compliance, HR, and technology. Over more than a decade at Human-I-T, I helped the team grow ITAD and Digital Equity values streams and associated revenues from $0 to $40M, leading vision, strategy, and execution across finance, accounting, governance, risk, compliance, operations, and the allocation of financial and human capital.

My leadership philosophy blends strategic coaching leadership with fiscal discipline and innovation. I've guided organizations through significant digital transformations. Notable implementations I have led vision, strategy and overseen execution for include AI product development, ERP, HRIS, CRM, e-commerce, spend management, travel, CLM, and work management systems; championing AI-powered solutions across sales, marketing, communication, compliance, contract management, and risk oversight. I've also led certification and audit readiness at scale, ensuring alignment with ISO and regulatory standards (fiscal, tax, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 - quality, environmental, health & safety) while maintaining agility. The throughline is consistent: aligning governance with growth to build resilient, transparent, future-ready enterprises.

My teams and I helped deliver impact and operate across three continents (North America, Eurasia, and South America) and nine countries (U.S., Canada, Mexico, Ecuador, U.K., France, Vietnam, China, and the UAE): distributing 523,000+ devices, connecting 110,000 households to affordable internet, supporting 35,000 families with technical support, providing 12,000+ recipients with digital literacy training, and diverting 15,000,000+ pounds of e-waste from landfills. We did this in partnership with organizations including Amazon, Disney, AT&T, Visa, Mastercard, and the Rocket Family of Companies, among many others.

Today, as CEO and Co-Founder of MoveWize and Managing Partner at Cimientu Advisory, I bring my experience of building companies and people-centric, problem solving to help my businesses and those we support thrive, in an intelligence-driven future. I serve on global advisory boards and contribute to professional communities focused on leadership, re-skilling, AI + technological transformation, and financial strategy. At my core, I'm committed to driving growth with integrity, empowering people + teams, and delivering long-term value for shareholders, stakeholders, and communities alike.

I am a CFO and finance leader focused on making the economics of consumer and retail businesses clearer — understanding how pricing, inventory, capital, and working capital are interacting, and bringing greater discipline to how they are deployed against demand.

Over my career, I’ve led finance and operations across multi-brand consumer platforms at the mid-market and upper mid-market level — often PE-backed and operating through both growth and capital-constrained situations, where the gap between operating decisions and financial outcomes has real consequences.

The consistent focus: stabilizing margin, improving cash conversion, and giving leadership a clear view of where the business is generating and consuming cash.

I do my best work during periods of growth, complexity, or structural change — when tighter alignment between operating decisions and financial outcomes is what the business needs most.

My foundation is in agile project management and product ownership: running sprints, prioritizing backlogs, and delivering cross-functional projects for global ecommerce and digital promotions teams in the UK and North America, including roles at Insyt Agency, Opia Limited, and DST Systems. That early discipline in structured delivery is still the backbone of how I run engagements, clear requirements, honest communication, and no surprises.

That discipline carried me into contract lifecycle management (CLM), where I spent years as a DocuSign CLM Solution Architect at Uptima and as a Project Manager and Technical Consultant at Audet Magna. I architected CLM and Salesforce integrated solutions and developed a specialty in document generation and template architecture, the piece that sets the tone for every project and is often the first thing to break. Too many CLM implementations miss the fundamentals: parent child contract structures, tracked document changes, legacy contract migration. I know that because I've lived inside the mess those gaps create, and it's exactly why I now know what to build and implement differently.

Today, I'm the co-founder of Nextraxion, where I'm building the contract data extraction platform I spent 15 years wishing existed, one that moves businesses off manual legacy uploads and onto API driven contract data pipelines. I'm also the founder of NexCLM, where I lead tailored CLM implementations for clients across pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, manufacturing, real estate, and education, and I serve as COO of MoveWize, a property technology platform where I help lead product strategy and technology direction, building capabilities like real time transaction tracking, smart property dashboards, and AI driven inspection summaries.

If your contracts are living in inboxes, spreadsheets, or a CLM that nobody trusts, that's usually where I start.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Plain answers, as promised.

What is a fractional CFO?

A senior finance executive who works with your organization part-time: financial diagnostics, forecasting, KPIs, and cash-flow discipline at a fraction of the cost of a full-time hire. Executive-level judgment, scaled to what you actually need.

What size companies do you work with?

Pre-revenue to $200MM: small and mid-market businesses, nonprofits, and PE-backed growth companies. The common thread is a foundation that needs to catch up to the organization standing on it.

How do engagements work?

Three ways in, no lock-in: fixed-fee deliverables with defined scope and price, hourly and project work against a tiered rate card, or a monthly retainer with a reserved block of hours at a preferred rate.

What does a full CFO engagement include?

Six stages that form a complete 12-month relationship: financial diagnostics and analysis, strategic planning and KPI development, financial model implementation and reporting, monthly strategy and profit optimization sessions, annual review and planning, plus on-demand project and decision support that runs in parallel. Commission any single stage or the full program.

What kinds of decisions can you support?

Capital expenditure evaluation, financing options analysis, strategic acquisition assessment, loan application preparation, debt restructuring, pricing decisions, customer contract analysis, vendor recommendations and negotiations, and working capital optimization. Analysis and recommendations are delivered within 5 to 7 business days.

What consulting do you offer beyond finance?

Fractional CEO and project management leadership, strategy, AI and technology adoption, ERP and systems execution, back office operations (HR, admin, process design), and nonprofit advisory. The same tiered approach applies: the right resource is matched to the task, so you never pay executive rates for coordination work.

What does Cimientu mean?

Cimientu comes from the Asturian word for foundation. That is the belief the firm is built on: get the base right, and what comes next can rise.

START A CONVERSATION

Make us an ask.

The best first messages are not polished. The best first messages are clear. A few things that make it easier for us to help:

Be specific

Instead of "can you help with our finances?" try "we need a 13-week cash-flow model before our April board meeting." Concrete asks get concrete answers.

Add context

"We are a $4M nonprofit that just lost our finance director." Knowing where you stand, and why you are asking now, helps us respond usefully on the first pass.

No pressure, either way

If there is a fit, we will say so plainly. If there is not, we will point you to someone better suited. Either way, you will hear back from a person.

"Clarity is not pressure. Clarity is kindness."

Thank you.
